Dr. Fergal Ruane

Dr. Ruane qualified from Trinity College, Dublin in 1998.
In addition to his General Practice qualification Dr. Ruane has special interests in Children’s Health and Sports Medicine having separate qualifications in both of these fields.
Dr. Verity Hill

Dr. Hill qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 2015 and joined the practice in 2022, her special interests are in Children’s Health and Dermatology.
She is very experienced in providing IUD Coil Insertion and Removal, Management of Perimenopause and Menopause, Family Planning, Pregnancy Care and Implanon Fitting and Removal.
Nurse Mary Murphy

Mary is qualified as RGN at St. Laurence’s Hospital Dublin in 1986.
Mary holds an Intensive Care Certificate RNSH in 1992, Bachelor Health Science (Nursing) at ACU in 1995, Diploma in Cardiovascular Disease Bradford University 2000, Diploma in Diabetes Bradford University 2001.
She has travelled extensively and has worked in Ireland, UK & Australia.
Mary has been working in General Practice since 1998.
Mary has special interest in Diabetes & Cardiovascular Disease, Intensive Care and Childhood Vaccinations.
Nurse Louise Langan

Louise qualified from NUI Galway in 2006 with a Degree in General Nursing. Louise qualified as a registered Midwife in 2009 from NUI Galway and University Hospital Galway.
She joined the practice in 2015. In addition to General Nursing she provides Antenatal care and has a special interest in Women’s Health and family planning.
Maria Ruane
Practice Manager

Maria qualified as a pharmacist from Trinity College Dublin in 1995 and worked as a Community Pharmacist for many years. She completed the Diploma in General Practice from the ICGP in 2016 and now she both manages the practice and uses her valuable expertise as a pharmacist in the GP setting.
Christina Heston
Receptionist

Christina is our longest serving receptionist having worked in Quay street for over 20 years. She is highly experienced and dedicated to the effective day to day running of the practice along with payroll and other administrative and management duties.
Rachel Doherty
Receptionist
​
Rachel joined the practice in 2020 having previously worked as a secretary in a legal practice. Rachel is very organised and committed to providing an excellent service to our patients.
Josephine Donnelly
Receptionist

Josephine is the newest member of our team and has all the qualities required to manage with ease high volumes of daily phone calls and patient visits.
