About Quay Medical

Quay Medical is a GP surgery located on Quay St., Belmullet, Co.Mayo and is in operation for many decades in the town. Most recently in 2015, Dr Fergal Ruane and his wife Maria took over the running of the practice from Dr Brendan Molloy, and his wife Eilish, who had themselves ran the practice for over 30 years. Dr.Verity Hill joined in 2021 and this has further expanded the services we can offer our patients.

Our surgery is located very near the centre of the town near the pier. We are wheelchair accessible and there is on street parking directly outside.

We offer a wide variety of medical services to both Private Patients and Medical Card Patients including:

• Regular Check Ups

• Antenatal and Postnatal care

• Minor Surgery

• Childhood Vaccinations

We also provide clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, asthma and COPD

We offer a wide range of contraceptive/female health and male health services by consultation with Nurse/Doctor.
